Tottenham sent defender Ryan Sessegnon on loan to Bundesliga club Hoffenheim on Monday after he was left out of manager Jose Mourinho’s plans for the 2020-21 season. Sessegnon signed for Tottenham from Fulham last year but made only 12 appearances, none of them after the coronavirus pandemic interrupted the season. The 20-year-old English player hasn’t played this season and was only named in the squad for one Europa League qualifying game.

French champion Paris Saint-Germain signed midfielder Danilo Pereira from FC Porto on Monday on a season-long loan, a move likely to appease tensions between coach Thomas Tuchel and sporting director Leonardo. PSG announced the deal with an option to buy on the transfer window’s deadline day after Leonardo criticized Tuchel last week for suggesting that the club had been weakened by failing to recruit new players.

Kerala Blasters have announced the signing of Gary Hooper from A-League side Wellington Phoenix. Though not specifically mentioned, it is expected to be a one-season deal for the upcoming season of the ISL. In the one year at Phoenix, Hooper scored eight goals, helping them finish third.

Fans fury is vented at Ed Woodward and not Solskjaer because the Norwegian is not just a popular former player but because of the Manchester United’s repeated failings in the transfer market.

Everton have signed Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey for a fee which could reach 30 million pounds, BBC reports.

Alex Telles is on his way to Manchester United from Porto, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. On the other hand, they are also close to signing Edinson Cavani. They are still trying to get Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona too.

29-year-old left winger Rafael Silva is rumoured to be signing for Chennaiyin FC, according to Transfermarkt. He has scored a total of 33 goals in the 141 appearances he has made.
