One of South Africa’s landmark tourism beacons is to shut its doors, News24 has reliably learnt.
The Lord Charles Hotel, a tourism magnet in the Cape Winelands town of Somerset West, was built in 1988 and has featured as one of the country’s leading conferencing centres for the past three decades.
