Barkas 6: Had no chance with Killie’s penalty on his first-team debut. Was rarely troubled outwith the spot-kick and looked assured with his passing from the back.

Taylor 6: Didn’t venture forward with as much gusto as usual and didn’t do much when he did get there. Crossing not at its best all day.

Jullien 5: Had a real tough time against Kabamba. Gave away penalty and often out-muscled by the striker.

Ajer 5: Was lucky not to be up against Kilmarnock’s target man directly but still had his issues to deal with in Aaron Tshibola.

Frimpong 6: Full of energy and effort but couldn’t have any influence as an attacking force. Subbed.

Forrest 6: Swapped wings throughout the game with Elyounoussi but struggled to have an impact on either side. As usual, a lot of running, but this time, little reward.

McGregor 6: Had to come deeper to get on the ball as Celtic moved it wide, often bypassing their midfield players. Had a few shots on goal but they were from distance.

Brown 5: Booked for his first foul after 73 minutes which was about all we saw from the Celtic skipper. Subbed.

Christie 6: Clever to have a shot from distance with the free-kick which opened the scoring. Didn’t create much after the restart.

Elyounoussi 5: Only managed just over an hour before he was taken off. Barely featured as a forward threat and was subbed.

Edouard 6: Took a while to get into the game and was restricted to hopeful efforts from outside the box.

Klimala 4: Looks like he’s capable of forming a partnership with Odsonne Edouard, but 30 minutes wasn’t long enough to prove it.
