LeBron James breaks record with 16th All-NBA selection

LeBron James and presumptive MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way as unanimous selections on the first team. They were joined by Luka Doncic, James Harden and Anthony Davis, giving the Lakers two first-team selections.

James’ selection was the 16th All-NBA honor of his career, the most all time. He was previously tied with Tim Duncan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kobe Bryant with 15. His 13th first-team selection is also an NBA record.

Doncic’s selection is his first. He joins James, Kevin Durant, Tim Duncan, Rick Barry and Max Zaslofsky as the only players to earn first-team honors at 21 years old.

The league also named members to the second and third All-NBA teams. Here are the full results, with players listed in order of voting results.

Some of the notable names to miss the cut include Bradley Beal, Joel Embiid, Khris Middleton and Bam Adebayo.
