The five-time NBA all-star and founder of Webber Wellness has teamed up with Jason Wild and JW Asset Management to create a $ 100 million private equity cannabis fund that invests in Black and POC entrepreneurs

“As our country nears federal legalization, I feel it is more important than ever to empower the next generation of cannabis leaders in tangible ways,” said Webber in a statement. “I am delighted to be working with Jason He is a visionary in the industry and knows how urgent it is to support minority company executives in this area””

Webber Wellness and JW offer underrepresented entrepreneurs access to a range of business resources including research and development, cultivation, retail licensing, distribution, branding and marketing.
