Chennai: Following the success of the program launch in 2020, Google has partnered with Avtar Group, India’s pioneers in diversity, equity and inclusion solutions and India’s leading business school – Center for Executive Education at the Indian School of Business (ISB) announce the second cohort of DigiPivot, a curated digital marketing qualification program aimed exclusively at women

The second edition of the program will be a 22-week virtual learning engagement that will provide participants with digital marketing knowledge as well as strategic leadership mentoring.This program is designed to create equity for all and all intersectionalities of women are invited to apply for this program , including and not limited to people with disabilities as well as from the LGBTQ community, this program aims to bring together a diverse and talented group of participants who want to embed their careers in digital marketing

According to the CMIE, the effects of COVID-induced job losses have been disproportionately strong in women, underscoring the need for specially curated qualification programs for women in order to gain fair access to employment opportunities

When DigiPivot opened, 40 female professionals from across India were selected through a very rigorous selection process from thousands of applicants.The cohort went through an intense 18-week virtual program and was sponsored by Google executives, the ISB faculty and thought leaders from Avtar trained in the key technical and leadership skills required for a career pivot. The average skill growth rate in this first cohort has been set at 65 percent
