Free coverage begins this weekend for Seven and Foxtels Kayo Sports with Mount Panorama 500 at the season opener

Kayo has free access after a dispute with free-to-air broadcast partner Seven over streaming rights has been settled

The Bathurst coverage will be broadcast simultaneously on Channel 7 and Fox Sports, and will also be streamed on 7 and Kayo Sports

Foxtel’s sports streaming service Kayo has been confirmed to allow fans to view Mount Panorama 500 this weekend without the normal monthly fee

By singing, fans will be able to watch the same show broadcast on subscription channel Fox Sports and see live action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The free coverage is part of the Kayo Freebies promotion, which gives access to selected sports

Fox Sports’ Bathurst coverage of Kayo will be from 11:30 a.m. AEDT on Friday, 910 a.m. AEDT Saturday, and 9:10 a.m. AEDT Sunday

AUTO ACTION has learned that Kayo Sport’s free Supercars coverage coincides with most of the events that Free TV partner Seven will be showing live

In addition to Bathurst this weekend, Channel 7 – and streaming Service 7 – will be showing live the Darwin Triple Crown, Townsville 500, Sydney SuperNight, Bathurst 1000 and Gold Coast 500

The Bathurst 1000 marquee in October is likely to be excluded from the Kayo Sports deal that Seven contested

However, after tense conversations, Seven accepted that Kayo Sports’ limited free coverage of simulcast events was part of the new 2021-25 million dollar broadcasting deal of 2021-25 dominated by Fox Sports

The Bathurst 1000 is believed to be excluded from the free streaming deal with Kayo, although 7 rights to the big event are unclear

Fox Sports will broadcast the entire route action live for all 12 planned Supercars events, with Seven showing six events in real time on its main channel

Channel 7’s free live coverage is limited to approximately five hours on Saturday and Sunday afternoons of the six events, with the exception of Bathurst 1000 on Aug. until 10 October, which will be shown from Friday

Fans can access Kayo Freebies by downloading the Kayo Sports App or by visiting the website – kayosports – comau / freebies – and registering for a Freebies account. No credit card information is required to register and start streaming
