The Champions League round of 16 continues tonight with a breathtaking clash between La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, who are the focus of our coverage

The Atletico boss said: “We’re going to play against a team with a coach who has managed to get every team he’s taken over to play attractive football”
“He came to a club that has a lot of financial strength and always concludes good contracts
“They have signed some great young players this season and since Tuchel arrived they have improved their results significantly
“But your squad speaks for itself Just look at the quality of their three goalkeepers showing their strength and their attacking players could get into any team in the world””
Despite Atletico Madrid’s recent drop in form, they still make it into the Champions League as favorites on Tuesday
Simeone’s men are preferred at 17/10 to win while Chelsea are the underdogs at 19/10, with a tie at 2/1
Unsurprisingly, La Liga joint top scorer Luis Suarez is the favorite to open the proceedings 4-1 despite being linked to teammate Moussa Dembele at the same price

Atletico Madrid were certainly pulled into a tougher group than their peers, with Bayern Munich, RB Salzburg and Lokomotiv Moscow completing the four
However, it was an attack they struggled with and only scored seven goals, with neither Luiz Suarez nor Angel Correa scoring a net once, which resulted in a tie – three of them including a double against Lokomotiv Moscow and the home game against Bayern Munich
Their most notable game, however, wasn’t one they could remember when they were beaten 4-0 away in the opener of the group stage at Bayern
Although Chelsea will have been pleased to win the Champions League group stage, they were less pleased to find out their opponents as a result
The group stages were fully negotiated under the direction of Frank Lampard before he was sacked in late January, The Blues remained undefeated throughout the group stage, with four wins and two draws
In truth, Chelsea were given a relatively straightforward group, with Sevilla being the only notable team and the quartet being completed by Rennes and FC Krasnodar
Although Chelsea drew in the opening and closing stages of the group stage – in both the home games and the first against Sevilla and the second against Krasnodar – Chelsea sealed the progress there in the middle of the games, their most notable performance came early December when Olivier Giroud scored all four goals when Chelsea beat Sevilla 4-0
Diego Simeone makes three changes to Atletico Madrid’s side, who suffered a 2-0 defeat by Levante on Saturday when ex-Manc defenders Stefan Savic, Saul Niguez and Thomas Lemar replaced Jose Gimenez, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Renan Lodi entered
Luis Suarez, who has been impressed since joining, starts at the front, Lucas Torreira and Moussa Dembele sit on the bench

Callum Hudson-Odoi returns to the starting XI despite being sent off just 30 minutes after his move at the weekend
The Englishman is one of several changes that Andreas Christensen, Jorginho, Reece James and Olivier Giroud are starting Kurt Zouma, N’Golo Kante, Reece James and Tammy Abraham dropping on the bench
There are two big first legs in the round of 16: Chelsea visit Atletico Madrid and Lazio host Bayern Munich
