News – GB – Kitch: Nobody wants to see Ross fail

Bradford City v Leyton Orient – Sky Bet League Two – Valley Parade – Tuesday 7pm – Preview

Having scored 62 goals in 127 games in two games on Brisbane Road, the club always had a special place in his heart and he would be quick to admit that he is just as frustrated as any O supporter with the results not true the way the East Londoners

Despite his disappointment with the shape of the O lately, the former frontman reiterated that he was not calling for boss Ross Embleton to be released from his duties in E10

“Nobody, least of all me, is advocating firing Ross – we all want him and the team to do well,” Kitchen Yellow told Sport

“I just think that he has to learn to adapt and change faster, both tactically and mentally, to the different circumstances that every game brings with it

“A single game plan doesn’t work, especially when situations are fluid and constantly changing I think Ross is in a privileged position as manager of Leyton Orient I just think if he doesn’t make the best of it he will for it regret the rest of his career ”

Ironically, Tuesday’s trip to a resurgent town in Bradford is a situation the O’s should play it safe in as the Orient battles form and goals

“Maybe Ross should be careful about a system change? Given the current shape of the opposition, three center-backs might be advisable, ”added Kitchen

“I thought we didn’t seize a good opportunity against Port Vale and Colchester to get back among the front runners because we weren’t brave or ambitious enough

“But Bradford is a different fish-kettle right now, a big club that has underperformed for several years but have flourished lately under the provisional leadership of Mark Trueman and Connor Sellers and 24 points from the eleven games under the duo collected

“The Bantams beat Cheltenham in an impressive way over the weekend and will overtake the O’s with a victory in the Valley Parade on Tuesday evening.” That’s a tough question The O’s need to be prepared for a battle But when they’re strong, determined and in full concentration they could at least grab a point ”
