News – GB – Queen reschedules UK ‘Rhapsody Tour’ for 2022 and adds new dates


The band was scheduled to go on a major UK and European tour last summer, but the outing has been postponed to May – July 2021 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic

But the dates have now been postponed to 2022, starting with two shows at the AO Arena Manchester on Jan. and 31 They also have two additional UK shows at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow on May 2nd and 3 June added

“Under the ongoing Europe-wide Covid restrictions, there is no way to continue the tour as planned for this year,” said Queen Adam Lambert today. “The prospect of not being able to look forward to appearances and the experience of this wonderful audience again, is just heartbreaking ”

Ticket holders will be contacted by their point of sale for information on ticket exchange for the new dates

In a statement, the band added, “We want to make it clear none of the 2020 and 2021 shows have been canceled, but rearranged due to COVID-19. We really hope that as many people as possible will be in attendance for this Original dates posted in 2020 can still come to the shows ”
