News – PH – South Korea’s favorite zombie film: Train To Busan gets a US remake


Train to Busan was the 2016 zombie film “it” It was an overwhelming success that attracted many fans at home and abroad

Well, good news (or bad, “leave it alone!”) for zombie apocalypse fans, we’re getting a US. Remake of the film

Produced by New Line Cinemas and possibly directed by Timo Tjahjanto, it will take many great production talents, no doubt seen with horror, to bring this remake to life, Tjahjanto stepped into the limelight after seeing his gruesome film The Night Comes For US had published on Netflix

Other members of the film team would be James Wan as a producer with big awards like the creation of Saw and the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie, another would be Gary Dauberman, the screenwriter who made IT and The Curse of La Llorona

These two have made very important contributions to the horror genre, such as The Nun, Annabelle, and The Conjuring Franchise

There is currently no release date update so we’ll have to wait for the original film and its sequel, Train to Busan: Peninsula, to be available now on Apple TV and Google Play
