Lennon’s second spell as Celtic boss is expected to end soon – with John Kennedy acting as second

Lennon brought Celtic to Dubai for a training camp, but this trip ended with controversy and a positive Covid test for Chris Jullien

The manager, Kennedy and 13 players were forced into isolation – and No3 Gavin Strachan was responsible

An underused Celtic drew with Hibs and Livingston – and was then held back by the Lions when Lennon returned

Further losses against St Mirren and Ross County left the swaying title bid in ruins as the Rangers sped forward

Lennon – who, according to SunSport, was supported in early January – came under heavy pressure

When Celtic finally released its club rating in February, there was no mention of its long-term future

Desmond and the outgoing Lawwell were determined to stand by their husband before they were likely to part ways in the summer

Lennon is now to be taken out of the line of fire – Kennedy is expected to be installed as head of the caretaker

The former hoops player has filled various back room roles and is highly valued by staff and players
