Crystal Palace supporters on Twitter responded to a report by the Spiegel that mentions three names in the race to replace Roy Hodgson
The former English manager did an excellent job at Selhurst Park but it only takes so long before you can consolidate before you head one way or another
In the case of Palace, they’ve looked down as a result, according to the Mirror, if his contract expires at the end of the season, Hodgson could be out
Those pulling the strings at the club, especially Steve Parish, are hired to replace Hodgson, with Der Spiegel claiming Sean Dyche (Burnley), Eddie Howe (unemployed) and Steve Cooper (Swansea) are all in the running
Whether or not Hodgson is replaced by the right man could be the difference between ascending and descending Palace Therefore there is a lot to think about for Palace fans at the moment
We checked out Twitter to get a feel for the feeling in the fan base after the Spiegel report
Steve Cooper and his soccer ball are a very attractive option for me I wouldn’t be dissatisfied with Howe, but Dyche is a younger version of Hodgson Goes with Burnley, but it’s a big no for me
If we really want to take advantage of our academy, Cooper is the best choice If we want to rule our restrictive style of play, Howe is the best choice If we want to stay solid and get results, Dyche is the best choice Cooper is the one I’m on warm me
Wouldn’t be disappointed with any of this but think Cooper makes that clear to me. As grateful as I am for Roy, I think it would be beneficial if the new manager were hired before the end of the season although this is extremely unlikely
Roy Hodgson, Crystal Palace FC., Premier League, Charlton Athletic FC., Alan Curbishley, Sean Dyche
