James Martin said to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that morning that he was excited to get back to work However, he was concerned about whether or not he could get his hands on fresh produce, explaining after the initial lockdown that he couldn’t get lemons or scallops and wasn’t sure how the entire hospitality sector was going to deal with supply shortages

“I’m already fighting with the fishing industry to get scallops,” revealed James. “And that’s just me

“If you think of the entire hospitality industry, when this starts, the food will come from us”

“The last ban I remember was the 4th July when we were battling to get lemons I’m serious, “James continued

“When you combine that with anything that triggers the answer is, I can’t wait to pull on the chef’s jacket, I can’t wait to get back into the kitchen

“It was what I fell in love with when I was eight, and I can’t wait to do it again”

James nodded, “You have, you have a supply chain from to Europe and around the world Who knows what’s going to happen?”

Phillip later asked if James had any oil on his baked goods, but the TV chef hit back and insisted it was sugar

“It’s sugar, butter and,” he began to explain, but Phillip cut him off, “It’s just when you made the ones you told us you changed an exhaust pipe about”

“Yeah, I told you off the air, but now you’ve said that, a lot of people don’t know, but where I’m filming the Saturday show is actually my garage,” James explained

“There was a car with a kitchen in the garage studio. I did that and changed an exhaust at the same time

James laughed at Phillips’ teasing, but Holly couldn’t wait to get her hands on the chocolate orange tear and share the joy

Those who watched James prepare the delicious treat at home were amazed at how much butter he included in the recipe
