Redmond first gave a tip for text prediction back in September when Word beta testers and Microsoft 365 Word were limited for web users, as well as Outlookcom and Outlook on the web users in North America. The idea is to help users “write more efficiently, by predicting text quickly and accurately, “Microsoft said at the time

Over time, Word will learn and adapt to your writing style customize, reduce spelling and grammatical errors, and overall save time If you find it annoying, you can turn it off

Microsoft doesn’t sniff at what you type in, “Text prediction uses a machine learning model to make suggestions based on the text you’ve typed into the current document or email,” the company says, “The content says will not be saved or seen by anyone unless donated through the feedback mechanism “
