Holiday parks across the UK have updated their reopening dates and rules after the government announced earlier today that the roadmap will not be blocked

For many people, the most important part of Boris Johnson’s roadmap announcement was the information about the vacation

Although not much information was exchanged on international travel, the Prime Minister gave an estimated date for vacationing in the UK, provided that their households did so

Boris Johnson announced today that starting Jan. April, as long as there are no delays in the four steps of the roadmap, people are allowed to travel to self-contained accommodations

This will undoubtedly have led many to take a look at their favorite places to be, including the many popular holiday parks in the UK

Whether you want to get away with the kids or just want to travel for adults only, this is where you can find the latest updates from the UK’s largest holiday parks

In an update on its website today, Center Parcs wrote: “Following the latest information from the government that the restrictions will last until March, we have decided to postpone the closure of all our UK villages until at least the 7th March 2021 to extend

“Our priority continues to be the safety of guests and employees. We will continue to closely monitor government announcements and stand ready to welcome our guests back in due course and with all appropriate measures

“We will email all guests affected by the embargo with instructions on how to cancel activities on & restaurant reservations and reschedule at a £ 100 discount or cancel for a full refund”

Following the latest update, Pontins has decided to postpone the reopening of its parks until the end of March 2021

On his website, Pontins wrote: “Due to the recent government announcement, we are incredibly sad and, of course, disappointed to announce that we will be delaying the reopening of all of our holiday parks

“As always, the health and safety of our guests and employees will remain our top priority, and these are the actions we unfortunately have to take

“We hope for better times and look forward to welcoming you back to our parks at the end of March 2021

“Due to the high volume of inquiries and the limited resources, we will get in touch with all those affected as soon as we can Please contact us

“We would like to thank our guests for their continued support in these unprecedented times and hope to see everyone again soon!”

Parkdean is already offering Easter and summer holidays, which can be fully reimbursed if bookings are disrupted by coronavirus as part of the company’s “Covid promise”

A notice on the Parkdean Resorts website states: “In these uncertain times, you can be sure of one thing: you can still book a Parkdean Resorts vacation with total security and financial security

In a note on its website, Haven Holidays shared the following message: “Latest government update March 22nd February: We are currently working on exactly what the latest announcement means for your upcoming break

The holiday park has introduced a coronavirus book with a guarantee of trust This means that customers who isolate themselves, are hit by new government restrictions, or just can’t make it to their trip can get a full refund with no questions asked

According to the Haven Holidays website, breaks in 2021 “will be subject to government guidelines nearing the time of reopening”

Prior to the Prime Minister’s announcement, Butlin posted an update on its Facebook page claiming it will take “some time” to figure out what it will mean for its parks

The post read: “We await an announcement from the Prime Minister today regarding an out of lock roadmap

“It will take us some time to figure out what the news means for your breaks Please contact us. As you know, we are currently up to the 14th Closed March and will endeavor to provide you with an update and security as soon as possible

Prior to the announcement, Ribby Hall Village posted a post on its Facebook page confirming that guests will be updated in the coming days

It read: “Tomorrow we expect the Prime Minister to announce his roadmap to ease the lockdown

“Please rest assured that we will update all of our vacationers via Facebook and our website as soon as possible in the coming days Once we had time to understand the details

“Further updates for all of our vacation home owners will continue to be published on the notification page / portal for vacation home owners

“We have now contacted all holiday guests affected by the current blockage, who were between 26 February and 21 March 2021 should arrive

“Our phone lines stay open from 10am to 4pm daily, or you can PM us with any questions

“We hope for some positive news tomorrow, please stay safe and we hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend”

In an update on its website, Hoseasons wrote: “We currently have extremely high call volume. In order to be able to support customers effectively and efficiently, we are trying to prioritize customers with upcoming bookings.
