According to OU Daily, Jones was embroiled in a fight in the bathroom of Logies on the Corner, a facility just off the Oklahoma Norman campus, which reportedly took place either on late Saturday on February 13 or in The early morning hours of Sunday, February 14, almost cost Jones an eye, according to his lawyer

Woodbrow “Woody” Glass, Jones’ attorney, told OU Daily that Jones needed an operation to save his left eye. Glass said the doctor who performed the operation was “extremely lucky” that he “has not completely lost the eye” ”

“He was able to do some surgery to rebuild that eye socket and believes everything will go back to normal at some point, but it will take him a while to fully recover,” said Glass
