News – USA – Rolling power outages expected for northeast Nebraska due to transmission problems


On Monday, Northeast Power announced the announcement that the company serves Dakota, Dixon, Thurston, Pierce, and Wayne Counties

We have just been informed that rolling power outages are to be expected in our region due to transmission problems in connection with peak demands

Officials say the cause is due to transmission problems related to peak demands that are occurring across the state

The notice goes on to say that they have no control over when or how long the outages will last, but they said they have been told that the outages will last for about 30 minutes

The Dixon County Sheriff’s Office said these are expected to be available in the next few days and may affect landlines on the phone Hence, people are advised to keep their cell phones charged
