However, in a recent interview with news.com.au, Webster revealed all the of the drama that went down BTS on the opening ceremony night.
During rehearsals in the week leading up to the Sydney 2000 Olympics Opening Ceremony, Nikki Webster didn’t know if she was going to be able to fly across Stadium Australia or not.

« I think in two of the dress rehearsals the week before it was so windy that I couldn’t fly.
« Then on the day I remember the wind picked up in the afternoon and I thought it wasn’t going to happen, but thankfully it did. »
For five minutes Webster was strapped into a harness as she flew across Stadium Australia in her little pink dress, before landing and later on going on to sing Under The Southern Skies.
Sharing this interview ahead of the 20 year anniversary of the Sydney 2000 Olympics Opening Ceremony tomorrow. It’s hard to believe 20 years have passed when it still feels like yesterday! To celebrate the anniversary of the Olympics, Webster got out the pink floral dress she wore on stage.
She joked that while she was unable to fit into the costume anymore, her daughter Skylah could.
Last year, Webster appeared on Channel 10’s The Masked Singer, unveiled as the third celebrity on the show, dressed as the Alien.
