Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay is sidelined by a foot injury in Week 1 Monday Night Football.

UDPATE: Phillip Lindsay’s night is done. The Broncos have downgraded him to out in the final minutes of the third quarter.

The Denver Broncos have lost running back Phillip Lindsay to a foot injury in Week 1. The team announced in the third quarter that Lindsay is questionable to return. Melvin Gordon leads the Broncos with 30 rushing yards on six carries, and has two catches for ten yards. Meanwhile, Lindsay has 24 yards on a team-leading seven carries, and has an 11-yard reception.

Royce Freeman was spotted chatting with Gordon, and would likely pick up some work while Lindsay is sidelined.
