Twitter flagged President Trump for sharing a misleading video that made it appear Joe Biden had played the anti-police rap song “F—- tha Police” by N.W.A. on his phone during an event in Florida on Tuesday — when the Democratic nominee had actually played the song “Despacito,” a song by Latin music star Luis Fonsi.

The original clip showed Biden playing the song “Despacito” on his phone during a Hispanic Heritage month event, in a tribute to Fonsi, who had introduced the Democratic nominee at the event.

The clip was the butt of jokes online, with some Trump campaign officials pointing out the word “despacito” translates to “slowly” in English.

Hours later, Trump shared a clip from a random social media account that frequently puts out manipulated videos targeting Democrats which replaced “Despacito” with “F—- tha Police.”

The song — which protests police brutality and racial profiling — has long been controversial, and was banned from radio stations when it came out in 1988.

Trump has attempted to tie Biden to the riots that have broken out across the U.S. this year and the “Defund the police movement” — even though the Democratic nominee has repeatedly said he does not support the progressive cause.

Twitter has flagged several Trump tweets this year for spreading misinformation, after years of taking a more hands-off approach to handling false information on the platform.

Biden traveled to Florida on Tuesday for the first time as a presidential nominee in a bid to court Hispanic voters, who he has struggled to gain the support of in the key battleground state. Multiple polls have shown Biden trailing to Trump among Hispanic voters in recent weeks. However, a Monmouth University survey released Tuesday showed Biden dramatically reversing Trump’s lead.

After Twitter flagged the tweet, Trump shared the manipulated video again, this time saying “China is drooling. They can’t believe this!”
