Things went dark in the city at 7:23 a.m., Sept. 14. There are reports from some area residents that power started to return shortly after 9 a.m.
According to the power company, the cause is a supply problem from Hydro One. Crews have been dispatched and Alectra has posted on its website that the estimated time of repairs is 1 p.m.
